Field Office Assistant - Construction

Location : Rancho Cordova, CA

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Pay : $25 per hour

We're seeking a dependable Field Office Assistant to support the daily operations of an active construction site in Rancho Cordova. This role plays a key part in keeping the project organized, compliant, and on schedule by managing administrative tasks and coordinating communication between the field and main office.

Key Responsibilities :

Collect, review, and organize daily field reports from superintendents and foremen

Maintain permits, insurance certificates, and safety documentation for compliance

Gather and verify crew timecards; enter data into payroll systems

Greet and manage site visitors, vendors, and inspectors; ensure orientation forms are completed

Track office and site supply inventory, and place orders as needed

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

Schedule and assist with safety meetings and toolbox talks

Preferred Experience & Tools :

Construction administration or field office experience

Familiarity with ACC (construction management software) and timekeeping systems such as Vista Viewpoint

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word
