We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in Fresno, California. In this contract to permanent role, you will play an important part in managing billing processes and ensuring accurate financial records. Responsibilities :
- Prepare and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure they are correctly entered into the system.
- Perform collection tasks to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute billing statements for customers and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and streamline billing operations.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day billing functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries and provide solutions.
Requirements :
At least 2 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, or a related field.Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.Strong understanding of billing functions, including invoice preparation and collection processes.Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.Experience with administrative support and maintaining financial records.
