JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Virginia medical license and DEA (must be in hand)

Board : BE / BC in Emergency Medicine, IM, or FP with ER experience (must be certified within 7 years of residency)

DEA : Active DEA Certification

Certifications : ATLS required (if not EM Boarded), ACLS required if not EM Boarded

Experience : ER experience required

Other Qualifications : Clean file submissions only; no moonlighting residents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care for a diverse patient population

Work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Perform admissions, consults, and emergency stabilization procedures

Collaborate with general surgery and specialty teams

Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital standards

Contribute to patient
