Job Title : Director of Facilities & Maintenance

SUMMARY
The Director of Facilities & Maintenance will oversee all aspects of facilities management and maintenance operations at Infinite Recovery’s multiple locations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all facilities and equipment. The Director will lead a team to maintain optimal working conditions and regulatory compliance, including managing budgets, vendor relationships, and long-term capital improvement projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Direct and manage the facilities team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all facilities to ensure optimal operation and safety.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to meet operational needs and support organizational growth.
- Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Lead efforts in energy conservation, sustainability, and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor work order systems and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Manage the facilities budget, including forecasting, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance reviews.
- Develop and manage capital improvement projects, including new facility construction, renovations, and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal building codes, OSHA standards, and healthcare- specific regulations.
- Implement and oversee emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, and facility security programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and oversee major repairs, renovations, and construction projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve facilities issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement long-term facilities management
strategies.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum 5 years of progressive facilities maintenance experience and 5 years in a leadership role.Experience managing multi-site healthcare, recovery or similar facilities a plus.Professional certification in facilities management (e.g., IFMA, BOMA) a plus.HVAC CertificationStrong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), project management and regulatory compliance.Proven ability to lead a team, manage complex projects and work cross-functionally with other departments.Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with staff, vendors, and leadership.The job duties listed in this job description may not be inclusive of all requirements of this position. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, mentor, evaluate a team of maintenance technicians, custodial staff, and other facilities personnel.Assign work orders, prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs projects.Oversee procurement of equipment, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance operations.Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.Ensure that the maintenance team follows all safety protocols and standards.Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe working environment.Oversee inspections and certifications for facilities equipment, such as HVAC systems and fire suppressions systems.QUALIFICATIONS
