Occupational Therapist I (Full Time, Sunday -Thursday Day Shift, LGH)

$10,000 RECRUITMENT BONUS! This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients in the Acute Care and Acute Rehab settings.

The Occupational Therapist provides services within Va Licensure, TJC and CMS guidelines for patient care and billing for services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collaboration with Occupational therapy team, Physical Therapists, SLPs, Providers, Nursing and Case managers to promote interdisciplinary plans of care for Centra hospital patients.
• Completion of evaluations per Provider order and develops OT plan of care.
• Completion of supervisory visits for COTAs following Va licensure guidelines.
• Completes documentation that is within Va Licensure, TJC and CMS guidelines.
• Follows Centra Values
• Completion of mandatory yearly education for employment and to maintain Va licensure.
