AlphaBEST Education is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Recruiting Specialist to support our recruiting efforts in California. This role requires the candidate to reside in California and will partner with the recruiter to ensure a smooth and professional experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. From reviewing applications to conducting interviews, assisting with offer letters, background checks, and compliance, you'll play a vital role in building strong teams that serve children and families.

As an AlphaBEST HR Recruiting Specialist, you'll be trained, mentored, and have the chance to do the following :
Review applications in our Applicant Tracking System (ApplicantPool) to identify qualified candidates.Spotlight applicants in the ATS for hiring managers to review and consider.Conduct candidate interviews (phone or virtual) to assess qualifications and alignment with role requirements.Coordinate next steps with the recruiter and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience.Prepare and send offer letters, and track their return for compliance and follow-up.Assist with completion and verification of I-9 forms, both virtually and in-person.Process background checks – receiving background information, assisting applicants through the process, and tracking completions.Partner closely with the recruiter and Director of Workforce Strategy to keep the hiring process running smoothly.Provide general recruiting administrative support to ensure a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.Here's what you'll need :
Must reside in California.High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Previous experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or related administrative role.Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), preferably ApplicantPool.Knowledge of I-9 requirements and compliance processes preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A service-minded, collaborative spirit with attention to detail.Together, let's put more wonder in the world!
