Job Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports for management review.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Handle journal entries and maintain the general ledger with precision.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within accounting operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Staff Accountant should have :

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
