Overview

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide itinerant services for students in the Statesville, NC area. This educator will deliver specialized instruction and consultation to help students with visual impairments access their learning environments and achieve independence.

Compensation

Job Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and consultation for students with visual impairments

Adapt materials and lessons for accessibility

Conduct assessments and maintain compliance documentation

Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff

Teach Braille and technology-based adaptive skills as needed

Requirements

Active North Carolina teaching license with Visual Impairments (88082) endorsement required

Experience working with K12 students in school-based or itinerant roles preferred

Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
