Job descriptionMD or DO from an accredited institution. Active Texas medical license (unrestricted). Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Correctional Medicine. Current DEA registration. 2+ years of clinical experience preferred; correctional health experience a plus.
Overview
HJ Staffing is hiring a Locum Physician to provide primary care services at a correctional facility. This is a consistent weekday role with no weekends and an opportunity to make an impact in correctional healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary and urgent care to incarcerated patients.
- Perform exams, diagnose, prescribe, and manage patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records per regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing, mental health, and support staff.
