Special Education Teacher (25 / 26 SY)

AB Staffing is looking for experienced Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 25 / 26 school year.

Special Education Teachers needed throughout Arizona : Phoenix, Surprise, Glendale, Peoria, Litchfield, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and more locations.

Pay : $45-52 / hour DOE and location.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in relation to Special Education from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a valid State of Arizona professional teacher certificate with Special Education Endorsement.
• AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of core academic subject assigned, curriculum, and ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education.
• At least one year of teaching experience with students with a variety of disabilities, including students with behavior disorders and other learning and cognitive delays, preferred.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and / or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
