Certifications : BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
Must-Have : Required certifications and license
Description :
The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory, technical, and communication skills in delivering high-quality compassionate care to patients and families.
The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs, develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, provides direct care, evaluates patient progress, and coordinates care delivery throughout the patient's episode.
The Registered Nurse develops specialized skills in the area of patients admitted for medical conditions.
He / She provides care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations with medical conditions.
The Registered Nurse is accountable for patient and family education to assist in understanding self-care beyond hospitalization, including lifestyle changes to support health and healing.
The Registered Nurse is expected to promote comfort and provide emotional support in a healing environment.
The nurse applies nursing knowledge and skill in the delivery of care.
The nurse assesses patient and family needs through active listening, social perceptiveness, and analyzing data or information obtained through direct observation, assessment, technology, or communication with the health team.
