The UNC Horizons Program seeks a therapist for pregnant and parenting women residing in a gender-specific, trauma-responsive substance use disorder treatment program in Chapel Hill. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining an individual caseload of up to pregnant or parenting women a week and clinical documentation. Additionally, this position will spend time providing on-site clinical support to manage or prevent clinical crises, and on an on-call rotation schedule. An ideal candidate would have experience or knowledge in caring for women with substance use histories, working within an interdisciplinary team, and having a flexible schedule. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience LMFT, LCAS, LCSW, or LCMHC, or a provisional license of any of the mentioned licenses is required. Prior experience or working knowledge with treating vulnerable populations, women, and / or family interventions.
