Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Join ActionLink as a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Woodland, CA and the surrounding area. This role focuses on installing and maintaining electronics displays at major retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Store visits : Complete projects at assigned retail stores within the territory.
  • Display maintenance : Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays.
  • Clients : Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
  • Scheduling : Up to 25 hours per week, Monday–Friday; 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. No weekends or evenings.
  • Reporting : Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
  • Additional opportunities : Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience : Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
  • Versatility : Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory.
  • Attention to detail : Able to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
  • Independence and teamwork : Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
  • Tech readiness : Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi / GPS-enabled smart device with the latest OS; laptop / desktop access is a plus.
  • Travel : Must have a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; willingness to use the vehicle to perform responsibilities.
  • Physical ability : Able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.

  • Wage range : $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Additional technical projects : Available at higher rates, based on need.
  • Employment : W2 with bi-weekly pay and direct deposit.
  • Retirement : Optional 401(k) with company match.
  • Travel reimbursement : Store-to-store drive time and mileage assistance.
  • Training : Paid training time provided.
  • Time off : PTO accrual for hours worked.
