Job descriptionOutpatient mammography department serving adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Procedures include 3-D mammography, screening and diagnostic mammograms, fine needle aspirations, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsies Proficiency in producing high quality diagnostic mammographic images and performing special procedures with physician staff Department operates Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 8am to 4 : 30pm Shift is 5x8 hours, typically 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm All new staff have 25 exams observed by another tech before working independently Epic EMR experience required Floating to other campuses within the state may be required Former permanent staff must have a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the assignment location First-time travelers are accepted Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is preferred; all requests must be disclosed prior to submission Reliable transportation is required; travel pairs must have separate vehicles All onboarding compliance tasks must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance Completion of non-billable onboarding modules is required pre-start and annually Scrubs or department-appropriate attire required Adherence to Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and FDA quality requirements is mandatory Active WA license required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography; 2 years full-time strongly preferred BLS and ARRT certifications required Ability to accurately produce high quality diagnostic mammographic images Working knowledge of breast anatomy, x-ray equipment, radiographic exposure factors, and mandated quality control procedures Must provide two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
