Shipping / Receiving Clerk
The shipping / Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating all shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and timely movement of materials, parts, and finished goods. This role includes preparing shipments, verifying incoming materials, maintaining inventory records, and supporting production needs in a fast-paced environment.
Location : Yorba Linda, CA
Schedule : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm
Pay : $20.00 HR
Key responsibilities :
1. Shipping & Receiving
- Monitor backlog and ship orders in a timely manner
- Enter shipping information into carrier systems (FedEx, UPS, etc.) and company software to generate freight costs and labels
- Verify incoming raw materials and colors against purchase orders
- Receive, inspect, and document all deliveries for accuracy
2. Inventory & Material Handling
Maintain accurate inventory control, including movement and tracking of materials and finished goodsTransport raw materials and colors to and from the production floorMove finished goods from Quality Control to the warehouse for stock or shippingTransfer production from the production floor to the warehouseOperate forklift safely to move parts and materials3. Documentation & Support
Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is accurate and completeSupport production schedules by coordinating with relevant departmentsAssist in building production workflows as directedPerform other duties assigned by teamQualifications
Computer literacy with experience using shipping software (FedEx, UPS, etc.)Prior forklift operating experienceData entry and inventory control experienceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsDetail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong telephone and video conference skillsExperience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting (preferred)Knowledge of shipping compliance requirements (preferred)Personal Attributes
