JOB SUMMARY :
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for supporting daily production activities to meet customer demand and schedule requirements. This role ensures that safety and quality standards are maintained at all times while assembling, testing, and producing medical devices using specialized equipment and detailed work instructions. The technician collaborates closely with the Manufacturing Lead and / or Specialist to sustain efficient operations and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble, produce, and test medical devices using specialized tools, equipment, and fixtures according to work instructions.
- Work with the Manufacturing Lead and / or Specialist to meet customer demand and production schedules.
- Participate in basic problem-solving to maintain stable operations within the work cell.
- Identify and report quality, process, equipment, material, or labor issues to the Manufacturing Lead or Production Supervisor.
- Observe, maintain, and complete standard work processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S standards.
- Collaborate as an active member of the production team, assisting with product processing as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Quality System.
- Complete necessary documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent with some relevant work experience.Ability to read and follow documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Experience in medical device manufacturing.Microscope handling or inspection experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education : High School
