Manufacturing Process Engineer

Job Title Manufacturing Process Engineer Location: Huntington, West Virginia. FULL TIME Industry: Manufacturing & Production Job Category: Engineering Job Details: The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for assigned manufacturing processes. Through input from the customer, plant staff, and production employees the Manufacturing Engineer will review process controls, emphasize continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing methodology. Participate in the development of cell layouts, set up reduction (SMED), lead time reduction and improve productivity through waste reduction. In addition, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for achieving product target cost, improved efficiency and identifying possible production problems for existing products within their scope of accountability. Automotive environment engineering experience is required. Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree Someone with an IE degree with relevant experience as a process engineer will also be considered. Chemical Engineers are not a good fit. Process improvement experience (efficiency, waste reduction, scrap reduction, etc Automotive Manufacturing industry engineering experience. AIAG core tools (such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA) 3D CAD design a plus PLC (A/B or Fanuc preferred but any is ok Troubleshooting or programming. Robotics / automation environments Stable work history is needed.
