Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate with strong technical expertise and client-facing experience to join our growing tax team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality tax services and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trustsConduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes and IRS regulationsAssist in managing client relationships and proactively communicate with clients on tax mattersMentor and review work of junior staff and internsIdentify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic advice to clientsCollaborate with other departments on tax-related matters (e.g., audit support, advisory projects)Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and best practicesQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Taxation a plus)CPA license or progress toward CPA certification required3+ years of recent public accounting or corporate tax experienceProficient in tax preparation software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax lawsExcellent organizational, communication, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesCompensation :
Salary based on Experience but can be upwards of $110K+ base
