Project Manager – Building Automation

Location : Peachtree City, GA

Overview :

Our client seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automation projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires a strong technical foundation in building automation, along with proven experience managing project schedules, financials, customer coordination, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage full project lifecycle and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical oversight and quality assurance
• Develop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules with clear dependencies and deliverables
• Monitor project margin, proactively manage scope changes, and forecast financial outcomes
• Prepare and manage project financial reporting, cost projections, cash flow, and invoicing
• Draft and track change orders, and oversee procurement processes
• Coordinate directly with customers, serving as the primary commercial point of contact
• Lead regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Enforce engineering standards and ensure adherence to quality plans
• Identify project risks and lead mitigation strategies
• Support the development of internal project management tools and QMS contributions
• Negotiate terms and conditions as needed
