PeopleShare is seeking a Farm Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Hamburg, PA! Be apart of a family-owned company that employs over 250 Pennsylvanians and partners with 43 local farm families!

Farm Maintenance Mechanic Job Details :

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8am - 4 : 30pm (8 - 10 hours days)

Pay Rate : $25 - $30 p / hour depending on experience

Farm Maintenance Mechanic Job Description :

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trailers, automotive, heavy-duty, and specialized equipment (braking, steering, electrical, cooling, hydraulic, and lubrication systems).

Troubleshoot and maintain farm equipment, including ventilation controls, heaters, feed augers, fans, lighting, and manure handling systems.

Diagnose and repair automatic electric control panels and maintain water and feeding systems to ensure consistent livestock care.

Sanitize and maintain live haul trailers to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality for livestock transport.

Safely operate machinery and fabricate components (e.g., duck houses) from layouts for repair and construction needs.

Maintain compliance with safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe work environment.
