Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry (Contract)\n\nLocation : Bricktown, New Jersey 08724\nContract Length : 13 Weeks\nShift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM | 3x12s | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed | No on-call\nHours per Week : 36\nTravel Rate : Up to $2,473.50 per week\n\nPosition Overview\n\n"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Telemetry for an exciting job in Bricktown, NJ.\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients.\n
• Monitor patient conditions and telemetry data, promptly reporting abnormalities to the healthcare team.\n
• Administer medications, including non-titratable cardiac drips, and perform therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.\n
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and professional standards.\n
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with evidence-based nursing practices.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg and Telemetry experience in an acute hospital environment.\n
• At least 4 years total Med / Surg experience required.\n
• Strong proficiency in : \n
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation\n
• Administration of non-titratable cardiac drips and medications\n
• Managing a 5–6 : 1 patient ratio in high-acuity units\n
• Ability to float to similar units as needed.\n\nEducation\n
• Required : Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN)\n
• Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)\n\nLicenses & Certifications\n
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License\n
• BLS (AHA) – Required\n
• ACLS (AHA) – Required\n
