Ascension Illinois is looking for a Board Certified and experienced Advanced Practice Clinician, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Oncology Department.

Position Highlights :

Advanced Practice Provider - High-Risk Breast Program

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APN / PA-C) to join our High-Risk Breast Program, a specialized clinic focused on risk assessment, education, and proactive care for individuals at elevated risk for breast cancer.

The High-Risk Breast APP will provide direct outpatient care to individuals with elevated risk, including those with a personal history of high-risk benign breast lesions or a family history of breast cancer. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive cancer risk assessments, coordinating surveillance, and counseling patients on risk-reducing strategies. This role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists, surgeons, genetic counselors, and dietitians.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the APP will support community outreach and education initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of cancer risk and prevention.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience working as an APP with focus in oncology, womens health, or population health. They will possess the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with diverse populations and experience with program development or community outreach is preferred.
