Job descriptionMust be able to communicate directly with clients 1 year of experience or more with wet utility Must be able to operate large excavators with precision Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to work in confined spaces Ability to access secured facilities High attention to detail Employee must be physically fit to perform duties of the job in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and / or pulling (up to 50 lbs.) Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen Other physical requirements include walking, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending or crawling Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus Competitive salary rate plus bonuses Health, Dental, Vision Insurance PTO 401K with Company Match Company Vehicle
Utility Foreman
Type : Full time, non-exempt
Location : Job Site
Reports To : Superintendents & Project Managers
Schedule : Monday Friday (Hours)
Responsibilities :
- Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer
- Installs trench boxes as necessary
- Operates equipment in compliance with safety policies and OSHA procedures
- Ensures proper excavation & compaction procedures are performed
- Ensures all equipment is maintained by performing daily inspections & greasing equipment at required intervals
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of underground utilities
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the job
- Manages quality control and production
- Trains team members as needed in a hands-on manner
