Seneca Foods in Glencoe MN is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic - Distribution Department to join our team. Responsibilities :

• Relief of Shift Supervisor for the filling and storage of Bulk Totes of Peas and Corn in the frozen area and Can Supply and Palletizing of Brite Stack during the Pack season. On the days not relieving this position will overhaul the COC Repack Area.
• During the Repack Season this position will provide day off relief to the shift supervisor when the crews are working overtime.
• Maintenance, overhaul, troubleshoot and repair of equipment in the area and in the labeling area.
• Supervision responsibilities of a full crew of seasonals for Repack and Pack.
• Help with ordering of supplies and parts.
• Computer entry in SAP,GEM,EXEL, and e-mail.
• Overtime hours on a year round basis may be required. Friday work will be required during Repack.
• Ensure that GMP's (General Manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour.
