Situated less than 2 hours from major cities (New Orleans, LA – Jackson, MS – Gulfport, MS – Mobile, AL), Hattiesburg has been long known as “The Hub City.” Along with the low cost of living, this small family town offers cultural activities such as the Hattiesburg African American Military History Museum, the Armed Forces Museum at Camp Shelby, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, and several performing arts events at both Universities. In addition, you can enjoy Division 1 sporting events, biking trails, hunting and fishing, and top-rated golf courses.
