FUEL Art Director / Senior Designer (Contract)

Location : Hybrid, requires 2-days per week in the Greenville office

Job Type : Contract

Availability : minimum of 20 hours per week

We seek a talented Art Director / Senior Designer with a killer portfolio showcasing compelling conceptual designs with an eye for typography.

This visionary creative will create integrated, cross-channel deliverables from concept through execution across print and digital. Were talking all things graphic designtext-heavy brochures, eye-popping OOH, compelling print ads, click-worthy social posts, landing pages, websites all the things.

Expectations

  • Possesses strong conceptual skills and the ability to clearly articulate strategy, approach, rationale, and design thinking
  • Presents confidently, persuasively, and professionally to clients and internal teams
  • Creates thoughtful and stunning presentations
  • Works collaboratively and communicates well with strategists, user experience designers, copywriters, and programmers to build great brand experiences
  • Concepts, designs, and executes integrated, cross-channel advertising campaigns
  • Creates elevated visual designs with precise attention to detail
  • Loves building brands, evolving brand guidelines, and creating design systems
  • Storyboards and provide art direction for photo and video shoots
  • Provides editing direction and motion graphic feedback on video projects
  • Delivers on time and on budget
  • Manages projects in the Wrike project management platform

    • Qualifications

  • Local, Greenville-Spartanburg-based designer
  • An exceptional portfolio
  • with great typography
  • that shows talent in both print and digital media
  • Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) working as an Art Director or Senior Designer role, preferably at an agency
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Figma a plus
  • Illustration and / or animation skills a plus
