Scope of Work

Position : Clinical Informaticist

1. Purpose

The Clinical Informaticist serves as the bridge between clinical operations, information technology, and hospital leadership. The role ensures that clinical workflows are supported by electronic health record (EHR) systems, data tools, and digital solutions that improve patient care, safety, and efficiency while aligning with public health hospital priorities and regulatory requirements.

2. Objectives

Support optimization and ongoing improvement of Meditech, CPOE, eMAR, as well as the implementation and adoption of Oracle Health.

Ensure clinical workflows are safe, efficient, and aligned with evidence-based practices.

Enhance data integrity and reporting to meet quality, compliance, and public health mandates.

Act as a liaison between clinical staff, IT teams, and hospital administration.
