Application Developer III

Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking an Application Developer III to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications
• Enhance existing applications to improve performance, usability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Maintain documentation for code, processes, and system configurations
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices
• Demonstrate strong self-motivation and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Contribute to team discussions and provide thoughtful input on complex situations
• Support teammates by identifying issues early and helping navigate challenges
• Apply deep expertise in a primary specialization such as UX design, front-end development, backend development, or database development
• Develop complementary skills across additional technical areas
• Maintain foundational understanding of CI / CD pipelines, observability practices, event-driven architecture, and application security
• Build trusted relationships through strong communication and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in application development
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate feedback and grow in leadership readiness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with system architecture mapping
• Experience with business process modeling
• Experience mentoring others or supporting team development
