Job Title : On-Site Video Editor

Location : St. George, Utah (In-person)

Company : HopeScope (YouTube, TikTok & Instagram accounts)

Employment Type : Full-Time (40 hours per week), W-2 Employee

Compensation :

Competitive, based on experience, with potential for an increase based on performance.

Trial Period & Relocation for Out-of-Area Candidates :

• Candidates must be based in the United States to be eligible for this role.
• For candidates outside the St. George, Utah area, the role will begin with a two-month trial period during which you will work in a hybrid position.
• During the trial period, you will be flown out to meet & work with the HopeScope team in person!
• The trial period is extended with the clear expectation that, if successful, you will relocate to St. George, Utah by the end of the third month.
• Candidates must be fully aware of and committed to relocating to St. George, Utah if all goes well during the trial period.
• We are seeking someone dedicated to becoming an integral part of our on-site team, not someone looking to remain remote.

Key Responsibilities :

• Brainstorm viral ideas with Hope + team.
• Plan out every detail & prepare to execute.
• After you shoot the video footage needed, organize the files and the start Editing!
• Hope will review the rough edit and give notes from there.
• After a few revisions, we'll adjust the video for each individual platform (Youtube, IG, TT)
• You'll use your creativity + advanced editing + graphics to increase viewer retention
• It's all about understanding the audience and crafting the story!

Position Overview : We are expanding our team and seeking talented On-Site Video Editors to join our editing team based out of St. George, Utah! You will play a critical role in shaping the future of HopeScope. As an On-Site Video Editor, you will work closely with Hope and her creative team to craft compelling and engaging video content that resonates with our audience.
