Job description

Occupational Therapist – Certified Hand Specialist

Join a mission-driven orthopedic group that has been improving lives across Greater Atlanta for over 50 years.

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapis t to join our collaborative rehabilitation team.

A Certified Hand Specialis t would be an incredible addition, but we’re equally open to outstanding OTs who are passionate about upper-extremity care and want to grow into that specialty.

About the Role :

This position is based at our Sandy Springs office, where you’ll treat a primarily workers’ compensation and personal injury population, along with general orthopedic cases.

The current team includes 13 Occupational Therapists and across the system, with 1 OT currently at this location with room to expand to 1.5–2 FTEs due to strong patient demand.

You’ll typically see 10–12 patients per day , focusing mostly on hands and elbows, with a mix of post-operative and chronic cases.

Many of our OTs also fabricate custom splints onsite.

Documentation and scheduling are managed in Athena.

Collaboration :

You’ll work closely with Physical Therapists to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions for shared patients. Co-treatment occurs as needed, with each discipline completing its own evaluation and documentation.

Requirements :

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Georgia
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred but not required
  • Experience in hand and upper extremity therapy strongly preferred
  • Strong documentation and time-management skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care

What We Offer :

  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A supportive, growth-minded clinical environment
  • Opportunity to work alongside leading orthopedic and rehabilitation professionals
  • Stability and reputation of a respected, long-standing Atlanta practice
  • If you’re passionate about helping patients restore function and quality of life, and want to work in a culture that values collaboration, excellence, and compassion, we’d love to hear from you.
