• Nurse Manager – Emergency Room – Kansas City, MO Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent Schedule : Days Compensation : $53.12 – $61.99 / hour (based on experience, up to 20+ years) Sign-On Bonus : $25,000  with a  2 year Commitment Relocation Assistance : Case by case Overview We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager for the Emergency Room in Kansas City, MO.
• This role provides the opportunity to lead a Level I Trauma Center within a busy, high-acuity emergency department.
• As ER Nurse Manager, you will oversee patient care delivery, staff management, and quality improvement initiatives in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
• This is a hands-on leadership role designed for experienced ER leaders ready to make a lasting impact.
• Responsibilities Provide operational and clinical leadership for the emergency department.
• Oversee patient care delivery, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
• Manage resources responsibly while supporting organizational goals.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including performance evaluations and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Qualifications Required Current RN license in Missouri or Compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care emergency department management experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• ENPC or PALS certification at hire.
• TNCC or ATCN certification within 1 year of hire.
• Preferred National specialty certification in emergency nursing or leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
