Position Summary
The Customer Excellence Advocate is responsible for ensuring we have a great relationship with our Bakeries. We need an enthusiastic individual who can provide and maintain effective customer service and satisfaction, provide information to resolve customer order related issues, interact with management and warehouse personnel, establish service criteria, and meet customer requirements.
Accountability / Duties
- Ensures customer orders are processed timely and accurately into the system, confirming all orders are complete, and coordinating daily tasks / communicating out of stock items.
- Assists customers with add-ons / special deliveries and will calls by ensuring order is received by warehouse personnel in a timely manner.
- Generates pick lists and shipping labels as needed.
- Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward bakeries at all times.
- Works with warehouse personnel to fulfill orders completely.
- Acknowledges and resolves bakery complaints and processes credits and returns quickly.
- Continuously keeps updated with product knowledge and current marketing programs in order to effectively assist the customer.
- Filing claims with freight carriers for damages to ensure bakeries are reimbursed in a timely manner.
- Assists kitting room personnel with creation of our cake deco kits as time allows.
- Works as part of a team.
