Graduate Nurse Neuro Med Surg Full Time Nights

Summary

This is a developmental program for graduate nurses who want to develop multiple and varied clinical skills in multiple nursing specialties.

This position requires participation in a guided training and developmental program.

Qualifications

Education

Required : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Preferred : Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Certifications

Required : Must have a temporary authorization to practice as a graduate nurse under the direct supervision of a registered nurse by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. BLS required within 10 months of hire or transfer into unit.

Responsibilities

• Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and competent patient care.
• Will specifically, assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Will also assume responsibility for the supervision of staff to which nursing care is appropriately delegated.
