The Afterschool Program Adjustment Counselor provides individual and group counseling to students, focusing on social, emotional, and academic support. Whether working with students in special or general education, your goal is to foster a positive and nurturing environment. Additionally, you offer guidance to faculty and staff, addressing social-emotional and mental health needs during the summer programs. Your expertise contributes to a holistic approach to student well-being.

The SSELC Afterschool Program Adjustment Counselors will :
All program hours must be during out-of-school time. All duties must be performed during non-contractual hours.

Hours :
South Street Early Learning Center : 2 : 40 - 4 : 40 PM
Total Compensation : Not To Exceed (NTE) 164 hours $35 / hr Not To Exceed (NTE) : $5,740. This amount includes all program time as well as all prep and wrap-up required - Stipends require a Request for Payment form OR Time Sheets to be submitted bi-weekly.

As negotiated by the Fitchburg School Committee and the Fitchburg Education Association (FEA).
This is a retirement-eligible stipend.
