Physician Assistant

Join our Growing Osteoporosis & Bone Health Clinic in Central Pennsylvania

Are you a Physician Assistant that is passionate about improving outcomes in Osteoporosis care and fragility fracture prevention?

You will play a critical role in long-term disease management, patient education, and program development.

Description : What you will Do

Evaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to specialty

Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patients

Orders and collects specimens for routine laboratory tests, screening procedures and therapeutic procedures, including blood and blood products.

Facilitates collaboration between providers and coordination of community resources

Participates in Quality improvement initiatives

Provides and coordinates patient teaching and counseling.

Orders physical therapy, occupational therapy respiratory therapy, radiology examinations and nursing services

Provide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis and fragility fractures

Prescribe and monitor injectable osteoporosis treatments and infusions

Qualifications :

Current certification as a Physician Assistant

Experience in orthopedic surgery, endocrinology, or spine care is preferred.

Licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania is required.
