As a Security Officer - Auto Site Patrol - Full Time in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within an automotive manufacturing location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving as part of your duties. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the location, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with access-related questions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and / or site management during incidents as directed.
  • Operate and monitor security-related systems and equipment, such as access control systems, alarms, and video surveillance, as required by the site.
  • Support access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vehicles entering the location, including verification of credentials and adherence to site policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
