Accountabilities :

We provide training on site

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• supervise the activities of swimmers by enforcing rules and regulations
• warn swimmers of improper activities or hazards
• rescue persons in distress or in danger of drowning when indicated and provide rescue breathing, CPR and First Aid
• notify the NYS DOH of any accidents, rescues, or problems that have arisen
• check all safety equipment is working properly on a daily basis, and report to the Aquatic Manager any equipment that is in need of repair
• successfully and positively perform within work team dynamics
• be on time and capable of performing tasks within team dynamics
• supervise all patrons in and around the pool area

Work Schedule :

We’re currently looking for lifeguards to cover shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 : 30 a.m. to 1 : 30 p.m.Looking for more hours? We regularly have additional shifts available, plus opportunities to work special events and swim practices throughout the year.
