Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic leader to manage the Biomedical Equipment Technician program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. As the leader of the program, the Program Director is responsible for managing the department using sound business principles and ensuring compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and company policies and procedures. This position requires evening and occasional Saturday hours.

The Program Director teaches in his / her assigned discipline, works with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction within the assigned program(s). The Program Director is the lead administrator for the department, and, as such, is responsible for faculty training and development, coordinating and administering the academic program(s), and student outcomes and activities within the department.

Requirements

  • Possesses documented expertise in academic subject area as demonstrated by data sheets, diplomas, transcripts, certifications, and / or résumés.
  • Demonstrates expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation / written communication skills.
  • Provides effective direction and leadership, and works effectively and collaboratively with others.
  • Possesses a minimum of 4 years of biomedical equipment or related industry experience.
  • Prior postsecondary-related teaching experience strongly preferred
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's preferred
  • Active license or credentials aligned with the field, such as Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician, preferred but not required.

Annual Salary : $70,000
