Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details :

  • Work as part of interdisciplinary team providing professional nursing knowledge and skills
  • Average of 15 scans per day
  • Work with general, OB / GYN, and vascular patients
  • Experience required in abdomen, small parts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans
  • Perform transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging
  • Conduct upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, Aorta duplex, Carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams
  • Experience in assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures preferred but not required
  • Work independently on 2nd shift - must be comfortable and proficient
  • Call coverage Monday-Friday from 9 : 00 PM to 6 : 00 AM with rotation among day staff
  • Weekend call coverage as needed from 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 00 AM
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation if scheduled
  • Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)
  • Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience required
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Required certifications : BLS, ARDMS (RVT required for vascular scans)
  • Minimum 50-mile radius requirement
