Digital User Experience (UX) Architect III
The Digital User Experience (UX) Architect III facilitates and orchestrates the work of a cross-functional UX team and collaborates across the organization to envision and create user-centered digital experiences. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to influence product teams to align with business goals. The position involves working closely with UX teams, business stakeholders, product management, and technology partners.
Job Overview :
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of all UX disciplines and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, from executives and business partners to enterprise architects, development teams, and UX team members.
Responsibilities :
- Independently serve as the point of contact and prioritize work for a cross-functional UX team.
- Facilitate the UX team in creating strategic visions and collaborate on roadmap development.
- Establish creative direction and set quality control standards for the UX team.
- Coordinate team meetings, internal reviews, quality control, and work tracking.
- Facilitate stakeholder interactions, including project intake processes, demos, requirement gathering, and tradeoff negotiations.
- Lead discussions to solve complex problems and produce use cases, customer flows, navigation systems, wireframes, content inventories, sitemaps, taxonomy, functional requirements, and proof-of-concepts.
- Promote user-centered product design and incorporate user-centered approaches into the product development process.
- Collaborate with the UX design system team to create cohesive and scalable patterns for use across product lines.
- Ensure development implementation aligns with original design intent through collaboration with development teams.
- Participate in usability testing and design reviews.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, Information Sciences, Psychology, Human Factors, or Human-Centered Design and Engineering.Eight (8) years of experience designing systems and process structures for web and mobile solutions for enterprise platforms.Experience with UX design practices, lifecycle, and activities, including user research, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, content strategy, accessibility, and front-end development.Advanced experience with design-thinking methodologies and facilitating workshops with stakeholders and users.Advanced experience with Agile / Scrum / SAFe development methodologies and aligning UX processes with multiple Agile frameworks.Preferences :
Experience with complex business models.Knowledge of contemporary web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Frameworks, Scalable Vector Graphics, and Web Accessibility.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and InVision.Proficiency in JIRA or other project tracking and documentation frameworks.Familiarity or experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries.Skills and Competencies :
Ability to create wireframes, sitemaps, user flows, functional requirements, work models, user profiles, user scenarios, and usability objectives aligned with business and user goals.Strong relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams, including development and product management.Effective communication skills tailored to varying audiences.Ability to provide and receive feedback openly and respectfully.Capability to align UX vision and strategy across multiple platforms and workstreams.Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.Comfort with ambiguity and a desire to assist others.Intellectual curiosity and a passion for learning.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.At PTR Global, we understand the importance of your privacy and security.
