About Position : The Epic Ambulatory Application Specialist is responsible for supporting, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining outpatient workflows and modules of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. This role bridges clinical operations and information technology (IT), and will translate user workflows into system build and configurations. The Epic Ambulatory Application Specialist will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for ambulatory workflows. This role is responsible for providing support, delivering training, and promoting user adoption, while driving system enhancements that align with organizational goals. The position also actively participates in system upgrades and updates to ensure ongoing optimization.

Duties / Responsibilities -

Qualifications -

Education : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field, preferred.

Required : 2-5 years of experience working with Epic Ambulatory modules or other EHR clinical systems including charting, ordering, documentation, or scheduling.

Preferred : Clinical background as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or a licensed practical nurse.

Experience in at least one full Epic implementation lifecycle.

Experience leading or mentoring others.

Experience with change management, governance, testing strategies / validations, and workflow redesigns.

Project management experience.

Clinical experience in a CHC, FQHC, or value-based care environment.

Current / valid License : Epic Ambulatory certification required within 9 months of hire if not already obtained.

Immunizations : Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment

Pay Range - $66,489 - $89,355 (commensurate with years of experience)
