Job descriptionEP Tech (Electrophysiology) 13 weeks Days : 4×10-hour shifts Schedule : 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM , 4 days / week On-Call Requirements : 1 weekend every 4th weekend Minimum 2 years experience EP experience required , including : Pacing Device procedures ARRT or RCIS / RCES BLS Illinois state license RCIS / RCES certification Applicable Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiology Completion of an accredited radiology technology program Special procedures experience Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, and radiology equipment Obtain images of designated body parts according to physician orders / specifications Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional EP procedures Monitor patient response throughout procedures Pass instruments and catheters as needed Maintain a sterile field Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use
