Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational setting in Westfield, PA is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position runs from August 20, 2025, through June 4, 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 : 00 AM to 3 : 00 PM (approximately 6.5 to 7 hours per day, 32.5 to 35 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities :

• Facilitate munication between a student who is deaf or hard of hearing and their hearing peers, teachers, and other school staff.
• Translate spoken English into American Sign Language and vice versa to ensure equal access to classroom instruction and activities.
• Support effective participation of the student in educational settings.
