CNA
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and the Resident Care Manager (RCM), the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNAs) is responsible for providing the highest level of direct care and support to residents in accordance with state laws and organizational guidelines. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for responding to the unique needs of each resident while assisting him / her in meeting their individual goals.
Education and / or Experience :
Successful completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program
Minimum of 6 months' experience preferably in PEDS or a long term care facility
Strong desire to work with Medically Fragile children
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual should relate to children / adolescents and indicate an interest in working with the physically impaired. Valid Certified Nursing Assistant License in the State of Florida
CPR and First Aid Course
Language Skills :
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
