Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Zephyrhills, FL 33542. This is a 2+ month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Duration : 2+ months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Payrate : $20-23 / hr. on w2 / Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Schedule : Mon - Fri 8 am to 5 pm (5 days / wk.)

Job Responsibilities :

• Ability to evaluate patient needs, administer prescribed medications, assist physician with examinations and treatment, prepare and apply dressings, and instruct patients in health measures and self-care as instructed by the physician.
• Ability to document and report findings and observations.
• Ability to perform EKGs.
• Ability to complete a color blindness test.
• Must be computer literate. Advanced, demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance.
