Job Description
A day in this role
When your shift begins, you print and sort incoming orders, prioritize the queue, and get to work picking, checking, packing, and shipping according to procedure. Carriers you touch daily include USPS, FedEx, and UPS. You assist with creating and printing FBA and WFS labels and workorders, then organize and brief the Pack Out Team so they can complete the day's pack outs as provided by the Warehouse Supervisor. Throughout the day you double-check for errors to keep pack outs efficient and accurate.
Between waves, you build and assemble pallets, down-stock aisles, and keep egress paths clear to ensure a clean, safe workspace. You receive delivered products, return unused items to stock, and keep locations organized and replenished. You monitor stock levels and alert the warehouse manager when quantities run low. Regular cycle counts and inventory checks are part of your rhythm. You'll also pitch in to break down cardboard into the proper bins, sweep and mop as needed, and help load and unload trucks. Other duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.
