Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational institution is seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to provide temporary instructional and behavioral support to students. This role assists in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment during short-term assignments.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Support classroom instruction and assist with daily learning activities

Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students

Implement strategies outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Monitor and document student progress and behavior

Assist with classroom management and student supervision

Perform clerical tasks as needed, including attendance and record-keeping

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures

Complete additional school fingerprinting and background checks as required

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively

Dependable and adaptable to various classroom environments

Must be willing to complete required fingerprinting and background checks

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.86 to $30.86. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
