Unit Information : There are 32 individual patient rooms. The staff comprises various roles, ensuring comprehensive care. Patient ratios are 5 : 1 on day shifts and 6 : 1 on night shifts. Typical equipment includes walkers, bedside commodes, bladder scanners, and wound care devices. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Skill Set : Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred applicants will possess hospital experience and orthopedic experience. Typical procedures performed include dressing changes, suture / staple removal, and wound management. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have the ability to provide compassionate care. Every other weekend commitment is required.
