Senior Business Planner

You will work both within the Nike Planning function and across the broader cross-functional organization including partnering closely with Merch Planning, S&IP, EBP, Merchandising, Finance, GMs, and others to deliver top-down financial business targets both pre-season and in-season. You will also work across Sport to drive trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, margin and optimize overall consumer and inventory health.

We are seeking a Senior Business Planner to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and setting consumer demand. You will be responsible for developing and leading multi-season revenue, receipt, and inventory plans to meet consumer demand, while adjusting and aligning these plans to the consumer architecture based on targets and actual results. You should be able to build hypotheses and conduct data-driven analysis, turning insights into action through strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. A deep understanding of consumer behavior, marketplace trends, product, and inventory planninggrounded in qualitative research, data, and insightsis essential. You are a strong collaborator who proactively builds positive relationships across the organization, working with both upstream and downstream teams. Your strong financial and commercial acumen enables you to exercise sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, planning, and / or product management
• Strong ability to influence and work constructively with others through effective communication
• Actively listens and contributes to advancing discussions
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to gather and interpret relevant market data to inform the business plan; skilled at assessing risk and solving problems to achieve business results
• Strong command of retail metrics, including Retail Sales, Sell-Through Percentage (ST%), Weeks of Supply (WOS), and Inventories (marketplace and distribution center), as well as Revenue and Margin
• Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training)

You will collaborate with the Sport and broader Business Planning teams to define and lead multi-season business plans for North America, Consumer, Sport, and Marketplace. You will set long-range financial plans based on consumer demand and sport-specific strategies, and reconcile assortment plans with business plans to align with the consumer architecture. Your top-down financial targets will inform franchise / style plans, financial forecasts, and end-to-end inventory forecasts. You will work across Consumer and Sport with Business Planning to reconcile forecasts and communicate results and impacts with cross-functional and leadership teams.
