Position Summary
The Vice President of Promotions & Apparel is responsible for leading and scaling the promotional products and branded apparel division. This role owns the division's strategic vision, financial performance, operational efficiency, and team leadership. The VP will ensure that offerings are innovative, profitable, and aligned with the company's overall brand and growth goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategy to grow the Promotions & Apparel division.
- Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and financial performance.
- Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and internal performance to inform data-driven decisions.
Operations & Process Management
Oversee and improve workflows across estimating, ordering, decorating, and fulfillment.Ensure production quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery for all apparel and promo product orders.Manage vendor relationships, sourcing, pricing negotiations, and product procurement.Sales & Business Development Support
Partner with the sales team to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and product positioning.Support client acquisition, large proposal development, and cross-selling initiatives.Drive expansion into new verticals and markets through innovative product offerings.Team Leadership & Development
Lead and develop a high-performing team across customer service, operations, production, and estimating.Build leadership capacity and succession plans within the department.Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Customer Experience & Brand Representation
Ensure a best-in-class customer experience across all touchpoints.Represent the division in executive meetings, client engagements, and industry events.Drive customer loyalty and retention through quality, responsiveness, and service innovation.Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, management, industrial design, or related fieldMinimum 10 years of experience in promotional products and / or apparel (screen printing, embroidery, etc.).Minimum of 5 years in senior management or executive-level role with P &L ownership.Deep understanding of the branded merchandise and apparel supply chain.Experience leading operations in a high-volume, client-centric environment.Proficient in ERP and workflow management systems; process improvement mindset.Skills & Competencies
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and drive profitability.Experience scaling a division or launching new product lines.Knowledge of promotional trends, customization technologies, and branding best practices.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.All candidates will have to pass a background check.
